Hi there, my name is Haley Moore. I’m a designer, an artist, a writer, and a life long self-educator. I started my career as a propmaker in Alternate Reality Games 15 years ago, and since then I’ve gone on to work in a lot of fields. Whether I’m developing personalities for the world’s most iconic robots, or running the CNC router at a construction company, I’m always adding skills to my arsenal.
I live in San Jose, CA and serve as the Project Coordinator for Maker Nexus, one of the biggest makerspaces in the country.

Prototyping
I work in both Solidworks and Fusion 360, and fabricate using 3D printers, routers, laser cutters and more. I love designing animatronics and custom lighting fixtures.

Writing
I specialize in unusual forms of fiction, from artifact storytelling to interactive character scripting. I also do a little technical writing and straight journalism.

Hands-On Props
Tangible props are my jam. If you need a piece your audience can hold and interact with, I can help you bring your vision to life.

Immersive Design
Since 2005, I’ve been working in ARGs and other immersive media. I’ve been both an experience designer and art director. I can help you create a special experience for your audience.
